General Description of FAST

 

Welcome to FAST, which stands for Fixed Asset Search and Transfer.  FAST is a Web-based extract system, available to state agencies to access their asset data.

 

The system uses data from the Fixed Asset Management System (FAMS) and employee data from the DAS Human Resource Division.

 

FAST gives inventory control officers in state agencies access to their inventory data and activity reports, employee names and position control numbers, and inventory worksheets with instructions for performing physical inventories.
